I preface these selections by saying there is not a clear cut favorite this week and all of these drivers are shearly value based.
Jeff Gordon +700 (0.5* to win 3.5*) Gordon practiced 5th, 12th, 6th, and qualified 2nd. Gordon is the driver that I think is going to win the race.
Greg Biffle +1300 (0.5* to win 6.5*) Practiced 11th, 2nd, 8th, Qualified 7th. Also had a top 10 Nationwide finish last night. This is the driver with the best value
Clint Boywer +900 (0.4* to win 3.6*) Practiced 12, 5th, 1st, and qualified 13th. This is the worst value of my for drivers, but like the fact that he got better during practice throughout the week.
Joey Logano +3000 (0.2* to win 6*) Longshot of the week. Logano was impressive this week as he practiced 7th, 17th, 9th, and qualified 6th. Look for him to make a little noise.
I believe that there are legitimately about 15 drivers who have a decent shot at winning this race, but the only one I really fear is Jimmy Johnson. He had a good week practicing 3rd, 6th, 4th, and qualifying 20th and he runs good at this track. However, I only like betting the chalk if I think he is the overwhelming favorite. I do no feel that there is any value in Jimmy Johnson this week at +550, therefore I will not be betting him. Unfortunately you cant bet on everyone.
